During my childhood I always had the typical clip lamp that I am sure we all know. It was made of bakelite, and it could be found in various colors. I liked it very much. I also remember the bakelite cracking from the heat and burning my fingers every time I touched the screen.
For me it was important to redesign it with notorious improvements in its light performance, ergonomics and functionality, as it has been proven in its production. And here it is, a seductive and daring lamp, recognized at the Salon de Paris Maison & Objet, Lumière as the best lighting product of the year 2000.
