Bó
Metalarte, 1998
The Bo was the first lamp that Marcos Zanuso Jr. and I made for Metalarte. The concept was clear: a table lamp that replaced a flexo and had a translucent display, in other words, a more modern hybrid version of the American arm lamp. The system of kneecaps and movements generates formal compositions. After that, we launched the Bó wall fixture, designed specially for bed headboards. This time we projected a smaller screen, made of injected polycarbonate and a halogen bulb.
