Albana

Marset, 2000

“Albana is a magic word. It escapes definition and synthesis because the name comes from the light of dawn that heralds a new and unknown day. It is also a tribute to the Etruscan people as the creators of the most beautiful forms for our everyday objects, for Alba Longa, the "Long Dawn" is the name of the dominant Etruscan city of Lazio, that succumbed before Rome, leaving us, through it, the inexhaustible treasure of its formal concepts."

Pedro Doblado Claverí, a great scholar and also my uncle.
